PEACE WITH HONOR
On January 23, 1973, President Richard M. Nixon announced the
agreement "To End The War and Bring Peace with Honor in Vietnam".
The agreement was to be signed in Paris, France, on January 27, 1973, with a
cease fire to take effect at 2400GMT (Midnight) on January 27th, which was
7:00AM local time (0700GMT) on January 28th in Saigon.

Two hours after the cease fire went into effect,
USARV (United States Army Vietnam) issued a message to the 1st Aviation Brigade
and it's Combat Aviation Groups. It was a "Countdown Execution
Message", which was the order to leave Vietnam.
